information about specific catalog features. Glover-Spencer
Memorial Library's catalog is not accessible

internet.
- For simple searches
select the Easy Search tab (the default display). Select
the search type: author, title, subject, or keyword.
Type in the search term and click on the Search button. When
searching for an author, the last name may suffice, or add the
initial or full name in reverse order: (Jakes, John) or (Jakes,
J).
- For more complex
searches involving more than one criteria, or to limit criteria, search
with Boolean operators. First, select the Expanded Search
tab. Enter your search terms in the Search for box(es).
In the row between search terms, select the Boolean operators you want
to use (and, or, or and not).
- You can broaden
material searches by using the wildcard character (*). When using
the wildcard character with key words, you need at least three
characters before the wildcard character. All other types of
wildcard searches (title, author, subject, and so on) can be done using
at least one character before the wildcard character.
