2021 Tax Filing Help Using IRS Free File

You may be eligible to file your federal and/or state income tax online for free, using the IRS Free File Program.

On your web browser, go to irs.gov/freefile.  This page will give you information about the Free File program, and contains a blue block to "Choose an IRS Free File Offer."  The next page, "Options," has a blue block to select "Browse all offers." The browse page currently offers nine Free File companies.  Read the requirements in the blocks for each company, as they all may differ based on income level, age, and whether they include free state filing.

If you haven't taken advantage of  electronic books, audiobooks, or magazines yet, our Oklahoma Virtual Library collection has many new materials.  This is thanks to funds made available by the American Rescue Plan Act, via the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.  Our library and many others in the consortium are able to purchase additional downloadable materials this year.

To borrow form the Oklahoma Virtual Library, insure you have a library card number and PIN set up at the library, and then download the OverDrive app Libby on your device.  A Kindle Fire version is not available, but Amazon Kindle users can still access it using the webapp version on Silk browser, or use the epub download version.
